Unisys Awarded Contract to Provide System Upgrade and Services by Hualien Second Credit Cooperative in TaiwanSystem Upgrade includes Libra 680, system integration and consultation services
Hong Kong, July 21, 2008 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) announced that it has signed a contract with Taiwan’s Hualien Second Credit Cooperative (Hualien Second Credit) to provide mainframe hardware and system software upgrades, and consultancy on core banking system migration. In addition, Unisys will assist Hualien Second Credit to establish a network and information system for their new Ta Li branch in central Taiwan.
Unisys will install a new Libra 680 server at Hualien Second Credit to enhance the performance of the mission critical enterprise server, and to strengthen the IT infrastructure. Unisys also will provide consulting services for disaster recovery planning and application infrastructure upgrade.”
